I had been searching for some type of gym/training to fit my needs, but didn’t really want to join ANY gym and have to pay extra for a personal trainer. Then I saw CrossFit 192 open up just down the block (talk about convenient!) and knew I had to check it out. I remember Gina and Seth being so nice and inviting from the moment I stepped in.
They offer two free trial days so you can see what it’s like, since CrossFit can seem pretty daunting to some. When you start out, they adjust the workouts to accommodate what your body can handle. I can assure you though, once you start going on a regular basis, you find it so rewarding to keep pushing yourself to see how much you can accomplish and how far you’ve come along. I’ve only been going for almost two months, and I already see changes in my body, both inside and outside, and my mind as well. It feels great!
Gina and Seth are AWESOME, along with the other trainers and other members. It really feels like a little family. Everyone supports each other and pushes each other to get the most out of every workout. It’s one of the main reasons why I’m hooked. Gina and Seth’s instruction and positive reinforcement show you they’re serious about getting you in shape, while also making sure that you enjoy the time you spend there. And classes aren’t too big, so there is more one-one-one instruction to make sure that your form is correct and that you are getting the most out of every exercise.
This is actually my first ever Yelp post, and I just had to continue spreading the word about how great of a decision it has been to join this CrossFit, and how I can’t wait to see how much more I progress!
